Step 1: Obtain a fair book & entry tags from one of our pick-up locations (will be listed when books become available in April), download from the fair book page or contact an ag society member to have items mailed to you.
Step 2: Carefully read rules for the class you wish to enter to ensure your item falls within the parameters & is displayed correctly for judging.
For livestock entries, please read individual class rules on how to register & prepare entry fee.
Step 3: Fill out your entry tags for each item according to the fair book
Step 4: Add your entries to your registration form (included in the fair book or print 3 copies here) Please try to keep items of the same class together on the form.
Step 5: Bring your items to the Meaford Curling Club Thursday, Sept. 1st 7-8pm or Friday Sept. 2nd 9am-12pm. Speak with a volunteer to receive help filling out tags and registration form, confirm registration, pay any outstanding fees & place your items in the correct area.
Please note that children’s entries into the Elementary School Class are free & do not need official entry tags or registration form. Please ensure entries are tagged with a first & last name, grade & school that was attended in June of that year. Only provide address if child does not attend a Meaford school.
Step 6: Make sure to come back Friday night (7-8pm) to view the exhibits or join us Fair Day 9-4:30pm! All entries can be picked up from the exhibit hall after 4:30pm on Saturday.
